The MedStar Georgetown University-Washington Hospital Center Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program (Cardiology Fellowship) is a distinguished program, providing fellows with exceptional training and research opportunities in Washington, DC.
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center are both part of MedStar Health. In addition, fellows participate in rotations at the Washington DC VA Medical Center, and Children’s National Medical Center. The fellowship provides rigorous training program that takes advantage of the strengths of these institutions to provide exposure across the spectrum of cardiovascular medicine.
Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship is a three-year program and is ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) accredited. The program accepts eight fellows every year.
Cardiovascular Disease Faculty
Through the guidance of experienced clinicians who are experts in one or more of the cardiac subspecialties, fellows develop a strong foundation in cardiology, which leads to opportunities to focus on any area of cardiovascular disease, including:
