Kristin attended The College of William and Mary where she received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She also completed her master’s degree in physical therapy from Old Dominion University. Kristin also holds a certification in vestibular rehabilitation from Emory University. She is an ICE Certified Specialist in Orthopedics and also holds her level 1 CrossFit coaching certification. Courtney is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and Occupational Therapist specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation. She completed her Master of Health Science degree in 2015 from Augusta University and has been a CHT since 2021. She is experienced in treating orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions with a focus on restoring function and promoting independence.

How should I prepare for my physical therapy appointment?
Eat a balanced meal 1-2 hours prior to therapy. Drink about 2.5 cups of water prior to therapy. Take any prescribed pain medications at least 1 hour prior to therapy. Dress in T-shirts, athletic tops, sweatpants, shorts, yoga pants, or athletic leggings. Wear athletic/walking shoes and avoid open toed sandals, flip-flops, and high heels. Ensure proper access to the treatment area.
