Unique in the area, MedStar Health’s multidisciplinary oncology team includes recognized leaders in urology, radiation medicine and oncology. Together, they assure that every patient is evaluated for the most appropriate treatment plan and cared for as an individual. Areas of oncology include prostate, bladder, kidney, penile, testicular and other cancers in organs of the urinary system.

Reconstructive urology
MedStar Health is the first in Washington, D.C., to perform urethral reconstruction procedures, and with the most experience restoring function to the urinary tract. Our surgeons have fellowship training from centers of excellence around the world, with the unique advantage of being the most experienced in complex urologic reconstruction in this region. We work hard to restore function to the genitourinary system, personalizing the plan depending on each person’s circumstance and goals.
Urologic robotic surgery
