William (Bill) Gayne is chief financial officer for MedStar Health Research Institute and is responsible for managing all operational financial management activities of the organization. Bill has extensive experience in accounting and auditing activities, capital and operating budget, long-range financial planning, reimbursement, cash management, accounts payable, payroll, decision support, benchmarking, and cost accounting.
Prior to joining MedStar Health Research Institute, he served as the chief financial officer for a large academic medical center. He also has previous experience with integrated health systems and providing consulting and audit services.
Bill is a CPA, a graduate of Stetson University and he holds a Master of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary.
