At MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, we provide comprehensive, technology-based surgical services, offering the latest, most innovative treatment for patients with a wide range of medical conditions. Our distinguished specialty service lines include: medicine, oncology, bariatrics, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, behavioral health, plastic/reconstructive surgery, and ambulatory services.

Between 2010 and 2020, we have invested over $300 million in a campus modernization strategy including a new inpatient tower, emergency department, NICU, and state-of-the-art surgical pavilion.

Accredited by the Joint Commission, MedStar Franklin Square is certified as a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center and is working on expanding into a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Comprehensive Neurovascular Center.
