Megan Moran, PT, DPT

Megan Moran, PT, attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Master's of Physical Therapy. Dr. Moran furthered her Physical Therapy education at Temple University where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. 

Since 2009, Dr. Moran has concentrated her clinical focus and continuing education on sports-related injuries. Currently, she is the Running Program Specialist at MedStar NRH Rehabilitation Network, Ballston Marymount and a faculty member of MedStar’s Sports Residency Program. 

Dr. Moran is also a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS). Dr. Moran has over eight years of experience treating athletes of all levels, including professional athletes, collegiate All-Americans, and All-State performers. She currently works with the athletes at Marymount University, is trained in dry needling, and sees patients who are recovering from concussions. 

In addition to her dedication to sports medicine and personalized patient care, Dr. Moran has a passion for teaching and is currently an adjunct instructor at Marymount University and presents regularly at MedStar’s internal conferences. Dr. Moran leverages her educational background, clinical knowledge, and personal experience as an athlete to identify biomechanical issues, educate on injury prevention techniques, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
